6 MISTAKES ROOKIES MAKE ABOUT FITNESS

If you're trying to get into fitness, then you may need to be told a few things to avoid since there is so much misinformation out there about what to do and not do.

Now, why do you need to read this when you could just go ask your friend who has been working out for years? Well, your friend may have been working out for a long time, and gotten results form all their tireless work, but they may have forgotten little things such as early pitfalls and traps because they're too focused on where they are now.

If you're a beginner, then looking over these mistakes and avoiding them will give you the best chance to achieve your goals.

1.Set achievable early goals

It's easy to sit down and write goals like wanting to lift 2x the weight you can now within a week, but that type of goal is impossible, you should focus on setting small and achievable goals such as doing an extra set of curls or running an additional 5 minutes on the treadmill.

2.Use protein powder

There's a stereotype that only experienced bodybuilders use protein, and you shouldn’t believe a word of it, because if you're looking to diet and gain muscle, then protein powder is going to be your best friend. Some protein powders even have caffeine in them to help you wake up and feel energised in the morning,

3.Don't go too hard too fast

You may be super pumped to start your journey and ready to give it 110% but this is not the way to go, you really need to pace yourself at the beginning since it isn't a sprint, it's a marathon.

4.Don't compare yourself to others at the gym

Looking at others at the gym who are thinner or more muscular than you is one of the worst things you can do since they have probably been doing this longer than you, and trying to compare your results to theirs is only going to make you feel bad about yourself so avoid doing this.

5.For weight loss, take burners

We all need that little extra help, and for those of you who're trying to lose weight, burners will really help you out since they promote a higher calorie burn and raise your body temperature so they're perfect for the winter months.

6.Be patient

Good things come to those who wait, and you aren't going to get visible results in a few weeks so be patient and monitor your progress, because if you stick to a workout routine and diet you will achieve your goals.
